Ching Huei Weng (Nas)
As a visual designer, animator, and VJ specialising in live production and animation, now based in London. Her projects focus on blending moving images with musicality and spatial dimensions. She collaborates with artists and bands to create visual content for concerts, award ceremonies, and stadium tours, delivering bespoke visual designs and on-site VJ operations.
During her recent MA Animation studies at RCA, she explored themes of light, shadow, and the dynamic relationship between individual and collective identities. This, along with the creation of soundscapes, marked a shift in her approach to visual storytelling, incorporating new techniques and artistic styles.
Ching Huei’s passion for refined visual aesthetics stems from her belief that we perceive the world through space, sound, and sight. She is currently exploring real-time generated art forms combined with audio components to enhance emotional engagement and storytelling.
